Email Marketing

I don’t normally write about things that I know very little about, but I was at a conference about online marketing the other night, presented by Stuart McLean of Level Seven, and he recommended looking into Mailchimp, which is a free (up to a point) Email Marketing tool. Which looks well worth checking out.

But if you are not into ‘Do It Yourself’ internet marketing, then you could do a lot worse than let the Web Bureau handle your email marketing campaign. They are Email Marketing Experts In Northern Ireland.

Been using MailChimp for only a few months now. Great features:

Easy to understand stats, for the DIYers.
    Takes care of unsubscribes.
Tells you who’s opening and clicking and who’s not.
Notifies you of bounces (email addresses that don’t work).
Compares your stats to others in your industry, to see how you’re doing.
    Lovely themes/templates.
    Great widgets.
    Etc…

    How long have I got?

I’ll have to have a look at this when I get 5 minutes!
